Alcohol and Drug Abuse

Alcohol and Drug Abuse are apparently one of the most significant social problems. SC Group emphasizes its concerns on alcohol and drug abuse and aims by all mean to encourage safe delivery operation and protection of environment.

Objective

Drivers/crews shall not be allowed to drive or operate the vehicles/ships when impaired by alcohol or drug.

Those who violate the policy will be removed from the operation and may be denied for future access.

General Rules and Limitation

Drug, Whisky, Brandy and Liquor, Rum etc. are prohibited to purchase, consume or bring on vehicles/ships or while driving and operating.
No alcoholic beverages or Drug shall be allowed to be carried into working area by company’s personnel or any other person.
Before daily driving, the drivers must be tested by alcohol testing equipment; the blood alcohol concentration will not exceed 0.50%.
Any drivers/crews, who are found to be impaired, shall not be allowed to stand for duty. The matter is to be recorded in the alcohol log and reported to the office.
Any personnel, who are found drug abuse, shall be removed from the company’s employees list.
