SC Group and DVE Students Join Songkran Ceremony to Honor the Elderly and Strengthen Community Ties

SC Group, together with students from the 23rd class of the dual vocational education (DVE) program in mechanics , participated in a traditional Elderly Blessing Ceremony on the occasion of National Elderly Day and the Songkran Festival 2025. The event was held at the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate Office in Rayong Province and organized by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT). The Elderly Blessing Ceremony, or Rod Nam Dum Hua, where younger members of the community pay respect to their elders by pouring scented water over their hands as a symbol of cleansing and renewal. This tradition embodies the values of gratitude, respect, and the importance of family bonds.

Recognizing the value and significance of the elderly, the group actively promotes the preservation of local cultural traditions by paying respect to senior citizens, while also fostering stronger relationships with the local community.
